PreS-Gr 2-Large photos illustrate brief text, making this series accessible for younger readers. The text includes an explanation of what a virus is, how it spreads, and examples of how STEM is used to discover vaccines or provide care for patients. The importance of essential workers and ways that teachers and students have stayed connected are emphasized, rather than the scarier aspects of the pandemic.
