Baby-Toddler-Another installment of classic rhymes from an illustrator who has become synonymous with Mother Goose herself. Wells's familiar furry friends share rhymes about counting. A trimmer size than many of her collections of nursery rhymes, this edition will likely appeal to adults planning lessons around numbers for the very young. A combination of familiar rhymes like "one, two, buckle my shoe" and more obscure ones like "I had a little dolly" add value, though not much uniqueness. The unfamiliar language and occasionally dated references of some classic rhymes may flummox very young listeners, though fans of Wells's work will not be disappointed. VERDICT A solid purchase for collections where nursery rhyme books are popular.-Jenna Boles, Greene County Public Library, Beavercreek, OH
