We first met Anthony Dantein Fair Play (2004). He runs Dantes, the restaurant that he and his brother own. He is an excellent, if temperamental, chef, and since his wife died, his life is devoted to his extended family and his restaurant. His rut is well and truly worn until Vivi Robitaille arrives in Brooklyn from France and opens a little bistro right across the street. They try toget along butare equally high-strung and competitive.Vivi shakes up Anthonys world, and just as he convinces himself toget out of his rut and embark on arelationship, she backs out.
