Grades 3-5 Each volume in the Sports' Greatest of All Time series (6 new titles) presents a list of top-rated athletes in a given sport, beginning with the tenth-ranked and ending with the very best. After a four-page introduction to the sport and its history, the book spotlights each chosen competitor in a double-page spread encompassing two paragraphs of information, three photos, and a box of notable facts and/or statistics. Pro Wrestling's G.O.A.T. looks at the drama and rivalries as well as the strengths and signature moves of these sports stars. While the wrestling book includes only two women, in the other volumes, the coverage is more evenly split between women and men. The text is quite readable and the photos are well chosen. Even when only black-and-white pictures are available, page layouts and colorful design elements add visual appeal. Each book closes by challenging readers to research the sport's history, make their own top-ten lists, and discuss their choices with friends. An appealing series for sports fans.
